G. MIKE WEINMAN, AREA MINISTER

An ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister, Dr. G. Michael Weinman holds Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees from Brite Divinity School and Texas Christian University.

Mike (Dr. Weinman) has served the larger church in a variety of capacities: Pastor of small to large congregations; Interim Pastor; Area and Regional Boards and Commissions; Camp and Conference Counselor and Director; Internal Affairs Seminar Counselor and Director; Crisis Response team member. He has also served a variety of community service organizations including Hospice, Boy Scouts of America, Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary Club.

References speak highly of Mike and his abilities as administrator, visionary, counselor, long range planner, goal setter, and articulate speaker. Mike believes his gifts and skills are found in teaching, counseling, administration, communication, and programming.

Dr. Weinman and his wife, Carma, have two sons…both live in Fort Worth/Houston, Texas.

Jeni Brown, Office Manager

Jeni was born and raised in Terre Haute Indiana, where she attended Indiana State University for a year, then transferred to Southwest Missouri State University to major in Travel and Tourism. She worked in the travel industry for 8 years. After a turn of events, became the membership secretary for a local church.

Jeni has been married to her husband, Doug, for 8 years; they have two children, Jacob age 6 and Jessie age 5. After finding out that her son Jacob had cancer, Jeni became involved with the American Cancer Society as well as began a ministry in helping other mothers of children with cancer, cope with the disease.
